Martin Levy was born and raised in The Bronx, New York post World War II where he attended public schools before matriculating to Westchester Community College and Pace College to study accounting.

Martin was licensed by the State of California in 1977, specializing in higher-end residential, commercial and income property, Martin worked closely with partnership groups handling sales, leases and property management for clients. In 1981, Martin relocated to Sonoma County and joined the firm of Merrill Lynch Realty. He developed a personal computerized mailing list of over 30,000 valued clients and property owners, as well as 15,000 Bay Area real estate offices and agents. The first year, not unexpectantly, Martin achieved multi-million dollar club status and has subsequently been recognized both locally and nationally as a leader in real estate sales, placing as high as Number 2 in the nation.
